Air Distribution Pots
FAV Air Distribution Pots are engineered to trap condensate and foreign matter that may accumulate in gaseous service lines, ensuring purification of the gas media. They are widely used in refineries, power plants, petrochemical, and other process industries. Depending on application, they are classified as condensation vessels, isolation vessels, and separation vessels.
Purpose & Function
- Condensate collection: Accumulates condensate and extrinsic particles from pipelines.
- Instrument protection: Safeguards delicate instruments with small orifices from clogging or damage.
- Drainage system: Bottom connection serves as a drain port to remove condensate.
- Cooling capability: Can be used to cool very high-temperature liquids.
- Pressure transmitter safety: Installed before transmitters to prevent diaphragm damage from high-temperature steam.
Materials & Specifications
- Available in Stainless Steel 316, Stainless Steel 304, Carbon Steel ASTM A106, Carbon Steel ASTM A105, Alloy Steel ASTM A335 P11, Alloy Steel ASTM A335 P22, and Monel 400.
- Fabricated from seamless pipe.
- Standard pipe sizes: 2″ OD to 6″ OD.
- Pressure rating: up to 10,000 psi.
- End connections: Male/Female NPT, BSPT, BSPP.
- Installation: Suitable for vertical or horizontal lines.
